DATA PROCESSING BY EDF RENOUVELABLES RECRUITS

The EDF RE Entity [EDF Renewables, whose registered office is located at 100, esplanade du Général de Gaulle 92 932 Paris la Défense Cedex] to which you are applying, informs you in its capacity as data controller, that your personal data is being processed for the purposes of recruitment management, including integration into our applicant pool, and the production of reports linked to the proper management of recruitment. This processing of personal data is based on the legitimate interest of the data controller, which is the hiring of personnel for the needs of its activity.
After studying your application, and if it is accepted, an initial contact is made with you by telephone to discuss your plans; if not, our negative reply will be sent to you by email.
In accordance with the terms of article L. 1221-8 of the French Labour Code, we inform you that the recruitment procedure used by EDF RE Entities includes an application file transmitted via the career site. If the application is accepted, a telephone screening and/or several interviews, and if necessary, psycho-technical tests.
In general, your personal data is communicated internally to the human resources department of the data controller as well as to the human resources department of other EDF RE Entities in the event that a recruitment corresponding to your profile is opened there. It is also communicated to our partners and subcontractors (in particular to the supplier of the IT tool for processing applications).
Your personal data may be transferred to EDF RE Entities and to service providers acting on its behalf who are located in France and/or within the European Union.
Your personal information will be kept for as long as it is needed to review your application, and will be added to your employee file if your application is successful. If your application is unsuccessful, it will be kept in our CV database for a period of 18 months from the date of our last contact. For spontaneous application, an email is sent after 90 days after their entry into the pool and automatic exit after 30 days if there is no response from them.
In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit, portability and object to the processing of your data, as well as the possibility of sending us your instructions in order to organize the fate of your data (conservation, deletion, communication to a third party, etc.) in the event of death. You can exercise these rights by writing to the following e-mail address: privacy@edf-re.fr.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint against a national supervisory authority such as the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés in the event of a breach of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data and in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016-679 (RGPD) in force since 25 May 2018.
EDF Renewables has nominated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) whom you can contact for any questions relating to the processing of your personal data and to exercise your rights.
