EDF Energies Nouvelles announces the commissioning in the United States, of the Milo wind farm with almost 50 MW, by its North American subsidiary, EDF Renewable Energy.
The Milo wind farm is located in Roosevelt County, eastern New Mexico, nearby the Roosevelt wind facility (250 MW) recently commissioned by EDF Renewable Energy.
With an installed capacity of 49.65 MW, Milo consists of 25 turbines.
Output is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 27,400 average New Mexico homes.
The electricity is committed into the Real-Time market in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Regional Transmission Organization (RTO).
EDF Energies Nouvelles’ subsidiary, EDF Renewable Energy, has put into service in the United States, 6.7 gigawatts (GW) in gross capacity, both for its own account and for third parties.
