EDF Renouvelables Services
EDF Renewables focuses on operation and maintenance as a key part of its work to deliver long-term support and optimise asset performance.
Set up in 2009, the EDF Renouvelables Services subsidiary is a leading wind farm and solar plant operation and maintenance provider in Europe. Working both for the Group itself and for third parties, the company operates in seven countries – France, Greece, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Belgium and Italy – to optimise power plant production and lifespan. In North America, this expertise is provided by EDF Renewable Services.
Multi-technology experts
In Europe, the O&M activity brings together nearly 800 multi-technology operation, maintenance and engineering specialists. They work across all types of assets and all stages of the wind farm or solar plant life cycle to deliver performance monitoring, remote management, works planning and the full range of customised maintenance operations.
At 31 December 2017, EDF Renouvelables Services operated 3.91 GW through strategic partnerships across the sector.

Locations close to plants
To ensure rapid, high-quality response, EDF Renouvelables Services has set up nearly 40 local operation and maintenance offices close to the plants it manages throughout Europe.
Each operation and maintenance office is connected to the European Operation Control Centre for wind farms and solar plants in Colombiers, southern France. The Centre is staffed by more than 30 experts who ensure uninterrupted (24/7) remote performance monitoring.
