Located in central Scotland, the Burnfoot North wind farm (4.1 MW) is comprised of two Senvion wind turbines. It is the first out of three extensions added to Burnfoot Hill, originally built in 2010 by EDF Energy Renewables.
As a whole, the Burnfoot facility (41.3 MW) corresponds to the annual energy needs of around 23,000 Scottish households.
